Some stories are better unfinished..

Cleaning the cupboard
last sunday morning,
found a book
soiled by a layer.
of dust and indifference.

This work of emotion (read 'fiction')
which got to live
a reality of its own.

I meet one.
Yet unfinished,
with a railway ticket,
used as a bookmark
still @ page no. 169.

This one has tarnished
a little more.

Weathered by a baggage
of expectations
or an everlasting wait??

Then realized,
Some stories are better unfinished..
